Application
When tap water is heated, chemical processes produce smaller or larger amounts of mineral deposits depending on the water hardness. These deposits remain in the steam cylinder and sooner or later require maintenance. The optionally installed Superflush can significantly increase the discharge of sludgy mineral deposits and thus extend the operating times between maintenance intervals.
Functional description
SuperFlush generates a water flow at the bottom of the cylinder through an inserted nozzle, which supports the discharge of lime particles during the pump-down process. The nozzle is supplied by an additional water inlet solenoid valve and is connected in parallel to the blowdown pump.
