the econ d series models from eos in the field of sauna controls are characterized by ease of use, durability and easy installation. All models have a multi-line LEd display that allows you to see the current status or settings of the sauna control. Even the smallest version, the econ d1 from eos comes up with many options for configuring your sauna. For example, even with the smallest model you can control the temperature digitally, specify the language of the control depending on use, manage your sauna lighting with up to 100w via the control unit or connect a sauna heater, out of the box, with up to 9kw with the smallest model, which can be expanded to 100kw with the larger models from d2. For this you will then need a load contactor.
the eos sauna controls in the econ d series can be mounted on the wall as well as recessed into the floor, and due to the low height the controls look very simple but also comfortable and do not attract attention. the basis of the heat limitation goes from 30°C - 115°C from the "d1" model with a safety cut-out up to 139°C, and up to a maximum of 142°C in the larger models.
For each model, from econ d1 to econ d4, a temperature sensor is included so that the control can work. With the models d3 and d4 you can connect 2 sensors. the models differ mainly in the performance class, the type and number of connections and the configuration option, e.g. with the econ d4 and the 4-fold adjustable user management etc. Purely externally, there are hardly any differences due to the design.
What is often a problem with other sauna controls, should not cause you any problems with the eos econ d series, because in the event of a power failure, all settings remain stored for up to 45h, only then it becomes critical and you have to reset all the settings again.
the eos econ d series sauna control units are suitable for Finnish sauna only.
